About The Invictus Method
Life is better when you feel good about the way you feel and look.
Being “fit” shouldn’t be exclusive to the most hardcore of people. Fitness should be accessible to everyone.. and it can be!
Life is inevitably challenging.
We all get thrown a curveball every once in a while that gets us off track, distracted from our goals. And yet, with a clear vision and the will to just keep moving forward, one step at a time, one day at a time… we can achieve much more than we ever thought was possible.
So how does that tie into fitness and into your life as a whole?
I strongly believe that it is possible to live a wonderful life, filled with fun and wonderful experiences, where you do not have to deprive yourself and make things harder for yourself in order to achieve your dream physique.
What if I told you that you can have an off day if you’re struggling? You can have the donuts or the pizza if you’re out with your friends? You can have a life that doesn’t revolve around the gym and still get the physique of your dreams?
Let me help you make that first step!
About Kevin
I grew up on an a tiny little island called New Caledonia.
When I wasn’t climbing trees or getting in trouble for something I didn’t do… I spent the vast majority of my childhood experimenting with all kinds of different sports and activities. Then as I got older, I fell in love with Fitness and with Acting. Thus began my journey.
Being active from a young age I was always fairly in shape… I got lucky. I know not all of us start with that advantage. That being said, I was never able to really look the way I wanted to - you know, the way superheroes look in movies. I was never really able to do the things they did either. I’d always sort of been good at one thing at a time, allowing myself to be limited by the stereotypes of this world:
“You can’t be lean and lift heavy”
“You can’t lift heavy and be a good rockclimber”
“You can’t have carbs if you want to be have abs”
You can’t, you can’t, you can’t…. all these standards used to drive me crazy.
But eventually, through many hours spent researching, studying and experimenting, I realised that I had done it - I found my perfect harmony.
I turned myself into what I now call an “Hybrid athlete”.
I’m able to lift weights. I’m able to do athletic activities like running and martial arts and climbing. I’m leaner that I’ve ever been, and, I’m in a very healthy committed relationship with donuts and pizzas.
The repercussions that this new found harmony have found on my life are invaluable. There is something to be said for looking the way you want to look, whilst enjoying the life you want to live.
My whole philosophy in life is that of a Stoic. We are not defined by the things that happen to us, but by the way we react to those things. We are always more in control than you give yourself credit for.
With that in mind, it’s also important to realise that, life is short.
